The Role:

The purpose of this role is to build a viable children’s and families ministry on Sundays at Hellensville Community Church, assisting the church to become more family friendly and multi generational. Also developing and leading appropriate weekday children’s and families programs and groups which increase relational and missional connections between the church and wider community.

The Applicant:

We are seeking an individual with a deep and lively Christian faith, who is warm, empathetic, and caring in their relationships. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator and listener, motivated and conscientious in their work, and able to think strategically while being adaptable to changing circumstances. They will also be confident, resilient, and a collaborative team member. The successful appointee will work closely with the local pastor and church community, under the leadership of Massey-Riverhead Presbyterian Church.

Work Type: Part Time

The role is up to half-time (16 hours per week), fixed term for an initial three years.
